Is HIFU treatment painful?
On a scale of one to ten, we can categorise the question ‘How painful is HIFU treatment?’ as a relatively painless treatment. You may feel a warm sensation under the surface of the skin during the treatment and for a few days afterwards due to the collagen stimulation (heating of the skin with ultrasound energy).
Is HIFU better than fillers?
The results of HIFU treatment last longer than fillers and patients only need to return for treatment every 9 to 12 months. Since HIFU treatment does not add volume to the skin, it is not as successful for volumising alone. Unlike fillers, which add volume to the skin, sagging of the skin is improved with HIFU treatment.

Especially by metal implants in the treatment area, Heart pacemaker, blood diseases, silicone injections in the treatment area, pregnancy, viral hepatitis, epilepsy (in consultation with the treating physician and depending on the stage of the disease a HIFU-Lifting can be carried out). Please advise your laser therapist beforehand about your illnesses.
How long does the HIFU treatment take?
